1. Who we are
xsearcher is a breach intelligence platform operated independently and accessible at xsearcher.fun. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: the username and hashed password you choose when registering. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext.
- Usage data: we keep a counter of daily searches per account to enforce subscription quotas. Search queries themselves are not stored long-term.
- Payment data: for paid subscriptions, we record the cryptocurrency, transaction hash (publicly visible on-chain), the amount, and the receiving address. No card details, no personal financial info.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps), retained for security and abuse prevention for up to 30 days.
3. How we use it
- To authenticate you and protect your account.
- To enforce subscription quotas and process upgrades.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal use of the Service.
4. Third parties
xsearcher does NOT sell, rent, or share your account data with third parties. The only external services we use are:
- Public blockchain explorers (Blockcypher, Etherscan, Solana RPC) to verify your crypto payments — we send only the public addresses and amounts you create.
- CoinGecko public API to fetch cryptocurrency exchange rates.
Neither receives any personal data about you.
5. Data security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use HttpOnly + SameSite cookies. Connections are encrypted via HTTPS (Let's Encrypt). Database access is restricted to localhost.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Delete your account at any time by contacting contact@xsearcher.fun.
- Request export of the data associated with your account.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies (your authentication session and your theme preference). No tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Home page.
